Anna Kotsovos is a Senior Tactical Analyst with the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) in Des Plaines, Illinois. Anna provides analytical support for NICB case investigations, creating products for local and federal law enforcement agencies and
prosecutors. She instructs in the NICB Analyst Academy which provides training to insurance and law enforcement analysts. She has provided cellular telephone record mapping analysis for various types of cases and has provided multiple trainings to law
enforcement and insurance professionals in the United States and overseas. Anna holds an associate’s degree in computer networking, a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and a graduate certificate in intelligence analysis.
Anna was a college adjunct instructor for seven years teaching psychology and criminal justice courses, and maintains licensure as an emergency medical technician, currently volunteering with the Medical Reserve Corps. Anna is a Past President of the North Central Regional Chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, and was sworn in as 4th Vice President of the
international chapter in 2019. Anna was awarded the 2011 Analyst of the Year award by the International Association of
Special Investigation Units, and the 2016 Analyst of the Year award from NICB.
Ms. Strickland represents and defends insurance companies in first- and third-party disputes involving fraud, breach of contract, policy construction, bad faith, interpleader, appraisal and coverage disputes. She represents clients in lawsuits involving premises liability, negligence, employee dishonesty, the Fair Business Practices Act, the Fair Debt Credit Reporting Act, copyright and trademark infringement, business torts and agency. She practices in commercial litigation, commercial transactions, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.
Melissa Segel represents insurance carriers and businesses in commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters, with an emphasis on defending against bad faith and fraudulent claims. She works with insurance adjusters, special investigative units (SIU) and insureds in both first- and third-party property and bodily injury loss claims in Georgia, including those related to arson, automobile accidents and theft coverage in homeowner and auto insurance policies. Melissa previously worked in the insurance industry for more than 10 years and specialized in property and special investigations. With her insurance claims and SIU background, she is uniquely attuned to her clients’ needs and goals which enables her to provide efficient and high-quality service while resolving disputes.
Delpha DiGiacomo has over 18 years of experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance Market. Currently she is part of the Investigative Services Leadership team at The Travelers companies as a Second Vice President with oversight for Claim Product partnership, Underwriting Investigations, Training, Marketing and Communication, Compliance and Operations. She served as the Chair for the Hispanic Latino Diversity Network at Travelers with a membership of over 2,000 employees from 2016 to December

Mark Charriez, FCLA, is a Senior Investigator with Zurich North America’s SIU Major Case Team. Mark began his law enforcement career in Georgia in 1993 and was a Senior Investigator at the Hall County Sheriff’s Office until 2006, when he began his career in the insurance industry with Zurich North America as an SIU Investigator. Mark is currently on Zurich’s SIU Major Case Team Property Unit and a member of the board for GA IASIU.
